“The descriptions in the book on how to do each exercise are excellent. There are three parts to the book. The first section has information on developing your training program like increasing intensity, preventing injury, keeping a workout notebook and more.
The middle section has the actual exercises. Both drawn illustrations and photographs of people doing the exercise are used. I like they include the photographs. The illustrations are nice to see the muscles involved. The final section that helped me was sample programs for beginners, advanced and circuit training.
For a person who knew she wanted to lift weights to build strength but had no idea what she was doing or how to do it correctly, this book has really helped."
